Pursuing the Planet Mars in the Heavens

•August 27, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Washing up time and general cleaning. Obviously, it’s good to be regular about it, but there are some of us who tend to do it in fits and bursts. When you have to do it is whenever the Moon or Mercury makes a movement with Mars. That’s because if you don’t do it you’ll channel the bad Martian energy and people will be disgusted with your habits, and also because having this Martian energy at your disposal will make it easier and faster. Not least if it’s a Moon movement, because that means there’s a woman, probably your mother, who will show up when it’s filthy around… And, if you intend to bring a new lover home, better make sure you don’t have pink cheeks with embarrassment.

So, when should you make an effort to clean?

For a quick clean, hiding dirty clothes in bags, washing-up, hovering and making the bed, sort out the cushions, rinsing the bath tub and generally hiding what would normally require a thorough job, for which there isn’t enough time or energy yet:

For all signs, on these days:

February 6, 8, 10, 15 and 22

For a thorough clean, dishes, scrape burnt pots and pans, laundry, ironing, dusting, sorting out books, throwing out old stuff, cleaning carpets or curtains, turning mattress over, decluttering the garden, cleaning sheds, cellars and sorting tools

February 3, 12, 17

THE SEXUAL LOVING EFFECT

That’s when Venus and Mars get linked together in the sky. It’s, hmmm, hot! This month, it will happen with Mars in Aquarius and Venus in Aries. So it won’t be the romantic kind, it’ll be the sporty kind, and it’s a pretty good aspect too. The aspect occurs twice (one in geocentric astrology, the other in heliocentric astrology)

For all signs, look out for these evenings:

February 8 is a good one too for those who like technique in bed!

February 17 – so if you met someone on Valentine’s day, please, please, wait till February 17 for your first time to get between the sheets, it will kick your sex-love horoscope to new heights and the effect should last. If you don’t wait till then, it might be difficult to recover the magic later in your relationship.

There’s more on love matters in the modules following this one, keep reading.

THE CUDDLE EFFECT

There’s one night in February that is really really fantastic for cuddles, not so much for the sporty thing, it’s on February 16 and it’s for all signs. It’s also a good time to make and receive gifts or do artistic stuff.

Astrology Daily Tips

•August 27, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I’ll follow the planets and give a description when they make a particular pattern that is applicable. For some days, you’ll know whether to make love or war, go study or play tennis, get your sewing kit out or paint the town red.

There is a modules below, this contain different information, so it’s worth reading to the end.
The Entry of Mars in Aquarius
What will be the effect of Mars on your daily life

Mars is a warrior planet. It has the qualities of the warrior, courageous, brave, quick, adventuresome and… good sexual ability. It has its faults too when the planet is not placed nicely in a horoscope, rushing too quickly, starting things and not finishing, aggressive, impulsive, impatient and… quick sex.

So, what will be the effects of Mars combined with the other planets on your daily living?

For February 4, give or take a day:

Gemini born around May 22, Libra born around October 22.

The pure Mars effect will give the possibility of having red hot sleeping sheets. That’s exactly the moment which one might want to choose for this activity. Here Mars will give the sporty side of itself. As the planet is also related to Venus, another planet for sex, well, it should be good. You might want to notice that it’s likely to be “sporty” and not that romantic because at the same time the planet Venus is in Aries.

If you want a baby, the seed should be good too!

For these (the above Geminis and Librans), it’s also good for sports, so if you want to make a competition with yourself or other at the gym, go for it.

For Sagittarius and Gemini, also born at the beginning of their Zodiac sign, around the 22nd.

Mars is going to bring lots of energy for studying and for travelling. If you must have a very heavy schedule of appointments all over the country it’s the time to do it. It also activates the sector of neighbors, so if you need help from one tilling the garden, lifting weights or go for a fast jogging or running, playing tennis or squash, it’s the time to do it too.

For Leos, Scorpios and Aquarius, also born at the beginning of their Zodiac sign.

That’s just the day to get into arguments, pick fights and generally being of an aggressive character. For Leos, they’ll scream, for Scorpios, they’ll be sarcastic, for Aquarius, they’ll be icy dogmatic. Not a good day to negotiate anything and for Aquarians not a good day to seek a lawyer for a divorce.

For Capricorns, also born at the beginning of their Zodiac sign.

.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.~*°*~.

Mars is going to give you more energy to earn more money, and it’s going to keep you busy. You may find it difficult to do it in an orderly fashion, as Mars coming into Aquarius is just not an organising planet. You’ll have to deal with many projects all at the same time.

Personal Astrology Consultation
I personally prepare each chart, spend time going over it and give my answers. I don’t offer computerized reports. Only the calculations are computerized. What you will get is a detailed personality analysis, an analysis of trends over the next one year and specific answers to your specific questions.

Career Astrology Reading
Personality analysis, personal forecast for the next 12 months and answers to any five questions related to your career.

Vedic Horoscope Matching
Horoscope Matching as per traditional Vedic Astrology methods.

Ask a Question
Ask a question and receive an answer. Your birth time is not
required for horary astrology.

Many people ask me if life is absolutely pre determined why do we need to do anything at all? Why can’t we just sit back and let everything fall in place? On the other hand if our effort is of paramount importance, why not set aside Astrology and go ahead with full gusto? Well, Vedic Astrology and its purists will have you
believe that everything is pre determined. Yet, there is a school of thought – to which I subscribe – that says life is a blend of the the pre determined and that which we influence with the choices we make.
So, the good news is that you are in control, to a large extent! There are periods more favorable for some activities and unfavorable forsome others. You could have an entire week that’s very favorable for your career and not so favorable for travel. So you could put off your travel plans and focus on dashing your resume across to various companies. That way you get a quicker response from these companies and avoid the travel snags you would have encountered , missed flights, lost luggage…..aren’t we all familar with that?
Career Astrology
Similarly, lets say you’re having trouble in your career. After many years of working at it, you haven’t reached as far as you had expected. People far less talented than you are getting ahead of you. You wonder what you’re doing wrong. The answer is – NOTHING! The career you’ve chosen is, quite likely, not in harmony with your chart. You can spend the rest of your life trying to work at it and the progress will continue to be below your expectations. The answer is to simply opt for a career that IS in harmony with your chart. Swim with the tide than against the tide.

Astrology and the stock market
People also ask me if I can predict Bingo numbers, Horse races and stocks that will move up. Well, yes and no. On any given day, hundreds of stocks go up. What is more important to you is not whether a stock will appreciate but whether you will gain from it financially.

Natal Astrology versus Sun Sign Astrology
Many a times those who’re into sun sign horoscopes and read them as a habit depend on them for romantic compatiblity analysis. So they go ‘Oh he’s a Taurus and I’m a Sagittarius and so we’ll never get along!’ or ask someone if they’re flirtatius and wonder, ‘Aren’t all Librans supposed to be flirts’. I wonder how many great relationships never happen thanks to these myths. Some skeptics will argue and say that becuase it seems ridiculous tot divide the world into 12 parts (Sun Signs) Astrology is just nonsense.

Let me tell you that you may be a Libra but you may also be a bit of Scorpio with a dash of Capricorn and a pinch of Leo..confused? Read on…

Sun Sign Astrology depends on the position of the Sun in your horoscope. The Sun moves through all 12 constellations over a period of one year and it remains in Virgo between 22 August and 22 September each year. So if you’re born between 22 August and 22 September, you’re a Virgo. This means irrespective of when you’re born or on which day in these 30 days you’re a Virgo or your Sun is in the constellation Virgo.

Similarly If you were born between September 23 and october 22, you would be considered a Libra because when you were born the Sun was in the constellation ‘Libra’. Now the limitation is that this takes into account only the position of the Sun and ignores other important planets such as Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn.

Your horoscope is the map of the universe at the moment of your birth and we revisit this map to find answers about your life and destiny. This map stays constant and is known as your natal chart or birth chart. Professional Natal Astrology consultation takes into account all these planets and their positions and is not limited only to the Sun and its position. So, it is, by far, more accurate than Sun Sign Astrology.

So if you were born when Jupiter was in Taurus and Jupiter signifies your career, it could maybe show some Jupiterian and Taurean influences on your career. Similarly if you were born with your Saturn in Leo and Saturn signifies your love life it could mean a Saturnian and Leo influence will color your love life. This is a somewhat simplified way of putting it as I’m not getting too technical here.

At the same time, this is not to say Sun sign horoscopes are meaningless because the Sun is a very important planet. We wouldn’t exist without it. At the same time, if you want more useful guidance, I recommend Natal Astrology.

Women’s health

•June 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Women with strong, positive Vestal influences take excellent care of themselves. Vesta’s penchant for unswerving devotion gives these women the strength to eat right, exercise, see their health practitioners, and generally lead a healthy lifestyle.

For many of us, healthy habits are more of a struggle than we’d like to admit. We’re bombarded by media images of tall, underweight celebrities, and often we engage in diets and fitness routines — not out of a desire to be healthy, but because we want to be thin. In fact, in trying to take up less space, some women engage in unhealthy practices like taking diet pills or exercising so much they damage their bodies.

The Vesta woman doesn’t make thinness her goal — she focuses on function and lets the form follow. She eats right but does not obsess about food; she exercises at a reasonable level; she is open to both medical and natural remedies when she does get sick. Monthly breast self-exams and daily flossing are simply part of her life.

As we learn more about what’s healthful and what’s not (remember the myth of the “healthy tan”?) we can make informed choices that help us to live longer and to enjoy a high quality of life.

We also need to pay attention to the directions the health care industry is taking. Our voices are important in the struggle to keep health care focused on people more than on money.

Astrology’s Value to Society and the Individual: The Art and Science of Astrology in Coping with Today’s New Paradigm

•June 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

We are living in a new world. Things are not the same. Financial markets have suffered their worst crash since the Great Depression. Unemployment around the world is rising, and so are home foreclosures. Bank and financial institutions are failing, and the politics of the world is taking a totally different direction as leaders struggle to make things right. The level of uncertainty about the future is increasing daily.

When will it end? How did it begin? What can one do in order to adjust to the new paradigm of reality that is sweeping the globe?

It may surprise you to know that the study of Astrology — and only Astrology — was able to pinpoint the exact year that this current economic and social crisis would erupt several years in advance. As far back as 1994, Astrologers were publishing articles, studies, and books identifying the period of 2008-2015 as an intense period known as “The Cardinal Climax.” And it was not just once or twice. Every single year since 1994 these studies have been published! The conditions were described accurately (rising debt, rising federal deficits, and eventually an economic crisis starting in 2008). No other study, no other “thinkers” from any other discipline, have been so accurate in preparing society for this remarkable period — its dangers as well as it opportunities.

This is but one example of “Astrology’s Value to Society.”

But not only has Astrology been of extreme value in understanding and preparing for this time beginning in 2008, it can also be of value in helping both society and the individual to cope successfully with this new paradigm. The Art and Science of Astrology can be helpful in identifying when this period of transformation will be complete, and how one can use these dynamics to not only cope with the present times, but actually to benefit from this social and economic transformation that is unfolding right here, right now.

The ISAR 2009 Conference: A Gathering Like No Other

From August 19-24, 2009, ISAR (the International Society for Astrological Research) will bring together approximately 80 world-class astrologers together to lead classes and workshops on this important period of time we are experiencing. This is a conference — a gathering of unique and brilliant minds — that you will not want to miss! It is taking place at the luxurious Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort, located in Oak Brook, Illinois, just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, and convenient to both O’Hare and Midway Airports. The prices for this conference and for overnight accommodations are extremely reasonable. However, overnight accommodations at the resort are limited to 300 rooms, so it is best to reserve as soon as possible.

Reverse Secondary Progressions

•June 24, 2009 • 1 Comment

It is also possible to progress a chart backwards, that is, to count back from the birthdate to see if there are any aspects to natal planets or angles in the chart. This can have surprisingly accurate results.

Secondary progressions

•June 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Secondary progressions are a popular method used by astrologers to make forecasts. This is also called the Year-For-A-Day method. Each day following the birth day is taken to repesent one year of a person´s life. Thus, if you were born on June 1, 1980, and you wanted to know your progressed forecast for 2001, at the age of 21, you would count forward 21 days to June 21 1980 and look at the positions of the planets on that day.

Astro Dating Tips

•June 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

*This section has nothing to do with compatibility. This is only a guide with insights on how to court someone that interests you. This section also has references to sex.

So you want to tap into the knowledge of the stars in order to get your “Astrological Tango” on? Well I’m here to teach you the moves! But before I can do that, let me give you some basics on how the whole courtship thing works according to someone’s signs and how this guide can help you.

First thing first, Astrology is very complex but this guide will only touch on a portion of it. Aspects, houses, planet placements and other things may contribute to a person’s personality, but the major players (for the most part) are the personal planets: The Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars (Mercury coming soon). The courtship game will be split up into two main stages: New and Old. Initially when we start to date someone (new), we act differently than we would after we get accustomed to them (old). A large part of the reason is because our Venus and Mar signs have more a predominant role in the first phase of dating. After the “fire” dies down, our real self starts to show and our Sun and Moon signs play the dominant role. To Paraphrase,
“We act like our Venus and Mars signs when we first date someone but then later show our true colors, Sun and Moon, when we get use to them.”

VenusVenus shows how we approach dating and our “emotional” gratification from sex.

MarsMars shows how we act or go about doing things and our “physical” approach to sex.

SunSun shows us our “ego” and who we are on the outside in general without the consideration of personal situations (like dating).

MoonMoon shows us our “feelings” and who we are on the inside in general without considerations also.

Also these four planets can be separated into 2 groups that represent our polarity or our “yin and yang” energy. Signs generally display themselves more differently in both the feminine and masculine planets.

VenusMoon Venus and Moon represents our feminine side.

MarsSun Sun and Mars represents our masculine side.

To use this guide you need to know a person’s signs. There are lots of free sites on the internet that can show you a person’s natal chart. 2 out of 3 times you may only need a person’s birthday, but sometimes signs can change on a particular day. If those planet’s signs change on the birthday of the person you are looking up, you either:

A: Have to know what time they were born or at least ask if they have a general idea (like “in the morning”).

B: Use your intuition. Once you start to get into astrology, you will begin to recognize different sign personalities in people and should be able to accurately guess.
Here’s a guide with more detail on dealing with this problem

The Sun Sign in your Horoscope may not be your most important astrological characteristic!

•September 22, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Zodiac Signs! – Horoscope columns in popular newspapers and magazines might lead you to suspect that the zodiac signs in which the Sun appears in horoscopes is of such over-riding importance that little else matters. The truth is that the zodiac signs in which the Sun appears is assigned much more importance in modern astrology than was the case in ancient times. Then, each planet (the Sun and the Moon being counted amongst the planets) signified a particular area of life as indicated in the individual birth chart. In particular, the planet that rules the ascendant (the zodiac sign rising at birth), and its sign and house position, was seen as having special significance for the individual. I believe this ancient tradition still holds true. Nevertheless there is no doubt that sun signs in horoscopes do have importance (the ancients acknowledged this too), and I offer these thumbnail sketches of the meaning of each. The twelve zodiac signs are divided into four elements: Fire – Aries, Leo and Sagittarius; Earth – Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn; Air – Gemini, Libra and Aquarius; Water – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

Astrology Planetary Associations or “What’s that Planet mean

•September 22, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Each of the twelve signs, like Aries, Taurus and Gemini etc., are not only about the Sun, but their associate planet as well. Very often, a good astrologer will recognize what your sun sign doesn’t say about you through the placement of its associate, known as its ruling planet.
